Jaws
The entire Jaws movie franchise is the reason some folks are too afraid to go anywhere near the ocean anymore. The first Jaws movie directed by Speilberg brought high-intensity shark attacks and terrifying anticipation together. While sharks may kill less people than cows do, Jaws definitely wrote down the big-toothed fish in our bad books.
