Kesha Supported With $250,000 Donation By Sympathetic Taylor Swift
Ariana Grande, Lorde, Demi Lovato, and Lady Gaga are not the only stars to have forthrightly expressed their support for Kesha in her vehement trial with Dr. Luke (Lukasz Gottwald) – Taylor Swift is now another soldier of Kesha’s army and words are not her sole weapon. This time, Kesha has landed a hefty chunk of change – according to Swift’s representatives, “to help with any of her [Kesha’s] financial needs during this trying time.”

The whole issue started when Kesha claimed to have been drugged and raped by her producer more than ten years ago. Now as the crime comes to light, Kesha would like to be allowed to act outside of her contract with Dr. Luke. However, she found no compassion in the court – the judge sided with Gottwald during Friday’s trial and decided that Kesha will have to fulfill her contract.

Those siding with Kesha have flooded the Internet with #FreeKesha, a hashtag coined to show the star society’s support. A group of most ardent fans was even brave enough to organize a public gathering next to Sony’s headquarters in Midtown Manhattan. Twenty people protested on the very Friday that the decision was being published.
