Did Prince Predict His Own Death?
Prince was found dead on April 21 at his Paisley Park estate. The death of the legendary musician shook the whole world. Whole generations were brought up with his music, so even President Barack Obama expressed his sadness over the star’s passing. The official cause of Prince’s death has not yet been released to the media, so all we can do is speculate using the various available sources. Some believe a dangerous kind of flu might have caused the musician’s demise; others think the cause to be drugs. The issue gets even more interesting when you realize that Prince mentioned his death to some friends five days before he left the mortal world.

Last week, when Prince was on the plane home to Atlanta, the pilot decided to carry out an emergency landing due to the star’s bad condition. Prince was soon taken to a hospital. His manager informed the media that the cause of his questionable shape was the flu. Prince was back at his mansion after a short period of hospitalization. The artist wasn’t at his best still, but that didn’t stop him from throwing a small party for his closest friends. It was on April 16; the star is quoted to have asked the guests to wait a few days before they start to pray in his intention. This makes some interpret the party as a goodbye event.

Another theory is that of Prince having passed due to a drug overdose. TMZ believe the flu wasn’t the cause for the breakdown of Prince’s health. The doctors recommended that the star stay in the hospital at least for a 24-hour period, but he pleaded to leave after 3 hours. According to TMZ’s sources, he didn’t feel good while leaving, and he had been given medications usually applied to drug-users. TMZ also report that Prince was notoriously using the services of a local drugstore during the week before his death.

There have also been some theories about Prince being sick with AIDS, but the gossip has never been concluded to be true. Boy George once bragged at having slept with Prince, but in the end, he admitted that he was talking about the star’s poster hung over his bed… So we’re neither sure whether Prince could have been gay nor if he might have carried the HIV.
