Hoffman was an actor you could base a religion upon – an incredible star with movies like The Master and God’s Pocket under his belt, he reached a level of fame at which the sight of his face was enough to make people watch a production – just like in The Hunger Games. Be it drama or comedy, Philip could master each with ease of a proven actor. It is a shame that his heroin addiction got the best of him when he was just 46.
