Considering how disappointed many people were with the Reunion, saying it was not as they wanted, I now feel obliged to touch on the subject yet again. It wasn’t the reunion we had wanted to see… And there should be no such reunion! The show has now been off for longer than it had ever been on. It’s high time we simply realized that the magic won’t reappear, well, magically – it’s just not happening. The actors combined perfectly to create an outstanding piece of TV a few decades ago, but they were at different points in their lives than they are now. They were different people in a wholly different era, back with no internet, so many years younger. The gang is not coming back. Just think how difficult it was logistically to organize a simple meet-up of the actors – and it’s not like everyone attended… The show was luckily endowed with one of the most perfect endings in the history of television. It’s not a feat to be played with – let’s leave Friends alone. Who’s up for a re-watch!?
