This amazing actor doesn’t get into the 27 Club, but he didn’t keep evading death for long, succumbing to a severe overdose as little as a year later. Had he lived, he would undoubtedly have carried on acting in more outstanding movies. His performance as Joker in The Dark Knight will be remembered for the decades to come – actually, Heath was posthumously rewarded with an Oscar for this impersonation. The Dark Knight Rises would have been a much better movie, had Ledger had the chance to star in it. We will miss him dearly.
