The Scots know how to get their party on. Their New Year’s Eve party lasts 3 whole days! The prelude to New Year’s Eve takes place on December 30th. Everyone participates in a torchlight walk through the city that ends with fireworks. Then on New Years Eve there are parties, concerts and open air markets everywhere. At midnight tons of fireworks are shot off from Edinburgh Castle.
